Raining!

I'm at the shop right now... Waiting to go home. I feel so stinky in my uniform and my poor guitar became my umbrella just now. sniff...

starving now.. I regret not eating just now. Aiya what to do... I was pretty full just now and now I'm like craving for some Parfalle Salmone. Only $8 plus ya know! It is so worth it man... well considering the fact that it originally costs more than $10.

ok.. suddenly I don't know what to blog about... again. there are so many things I can think of doing... and if I don't start putting them down in paper.. I'll never get any of it done!

On a good note.. AFC Talentime is around the corner! I'm pretty excited (though I'm nt too sure if I can even participate). Let's just say you have no idea how much I've missed dancing.... I don't even mind going through all the 50 sit-ups and the barely successful push ups and squats. Bring me dancing somebodeehhh! And I'm talking about real dancing yea.. not one of those shake your head thing with trance music.

bah... this hungry monster is craving for MANGO CHEESE CAKE!!! My mom baked some and oh I just fell so in love with it. Yummmyyyy!! My dad and I are officially her best customers for mango cheese cake..then again.. we curi curi ambil. muahahaha

Okay laaaa.. gotta go. Do check out my brother's blog. He's into photography now. Apparently, I'm not pretty enough to get into his films. hehehe oh well =( Http://pengambar.blogspot.com

Romans 8:20-21: For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

while I'm at it...

While I'm waiting for my maid.. I wanna take this opportunity to greet all fathers, especially my father... HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! This is the day when you realise that it's not only about the mothers... it's also the fathers who holds the family together... the one who supports and the one who stands in the gap for the generation to come. Keep it up Daddies! You know we love you! =)

Well, OK. I've kept it to myself for quite a while now.. except for the some of you that I have told. But I'm just here to say that I'll be leaving a lil sooner than expected. I have decided to *ahem* pursue my life into another world... another country....a country they all say are filled with "kiasu and kiasi" people. Yep... Off to Singapore, I'm going. I will be pursuing a Bachelor in Physics/Applied Physics (man it feels like i'm typing out my personal statement :P) and I really think its going to be challenging and tough. Phew.. but I'm really excited. God has blessed me with this opportunity so I'm taking it. I don't want to miss out either! Hehe

Don't worry. This is not like my last post or anything. I wouldn't do that to you.... or would I? Muahahaha... but hopefully I'll be able to spend a good amount of time with you guys.. and some sting rays ... chicken wine... nasi lemak at mameh... and our good ol jolly bee burgers that you cant find in singapore... not forgetting the fun and joy that I have with all of you.

OK... it hasn't hit me yet that I only have a short time left here in Brunei. So I'm not so sappy about it all.. But like said.. i'm really looking forward to this. Never had I thought that this was possible for me.. especially with a scholarship.. From a girl who dared not to dream to a girl transformed by God who dared me to dream.. and a God who caused me dreams and desires to come true.

So i'm going there to be a cool geek. a cool geek with nice coloured hair (I'll do that before I leave.. hehehe), a massive new electric guitar (one day one day...), and new skills in dance as I join good ol O School and ... a new hunger for the nations.

Bah okie laa... I do have to go. ... to work yes.. hehehe I'll get back to you all soon...

(and no I donno when Im leaving yet. :P)

Worthy

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been blogging for awhile... I havent got a chance to blog a "proper" blog for you guys to read.. so I don't blame ya that you find this site boring. Hehe... But things are pretty busy lately. There are so many things that I really want to do... but I can't seem to find the time to fit it all in. I think I just need to learn to take some time off for a few hours, sit and pen it all down. I'm sure it'll all work out.

Yep, I just got back from Singapore about a week ago and Emerge Conference was awesome! It was mind blowing and God just moved. There was no stopping Him especially on that one night. Phew... He swept me off my feet. =) Learning more and more about Him, how He's a just God, a creative God, a God who loves culture... thus giving us the cultural mandate... to take the raw materials that we have in our hands and using it creatively for the Glory of God. I like what Henry Van Til said... "Culture is religion externalized!" How about that huh?

At the moment, I'm done with all of my interviews... I'm just waiting for their replies. So am I going overseas? I guess it all depends but I am pretty excited for the results. You can say that I am really looking forward to it.

Oh guess what? I've got my hair really short. heheh FINALLY!! I've always wanted to get a different hair cut. But yes, it is officially short! doesn't feel so short though. Sorry no pictures la.. cos I tried and tried to take a nice one but it didn't work. haha.. so someone has to be my photographer now. Who volunteers?

bah I gotta go. after i finish makan my goreng pisang.. i want to go back to work again. see you!

All of us must die eventually. Our lives are like water spilled out on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him. -2 Samuel 14:14
