Going back home again

Recently I have seriously been on the road. I am now at my grandmother's place, having an amazing time (getting fat!). Wow, coming here has reminded me my love for staying in a quiet village. Call me old fashion but I really like it. I have enjoyed hanging out with my cousins. Can't believe we talked till 2 am that one night. That was a lil crazy! I havent done that in ages! Hehe.. the only one thing I don't enjoy here are those darn lil mosquitoes that left a huge trademark on my legs and arms. grrrr on the good side.. I tried learning how to ride a bicycle... and I managed to cycle on my own (but like a drunkard).

Coming here only got me to know how much of history there is left around that not many people would talk about anymore. Something that only we as a family would know and would only speak among ourselves. Some good and some bad. But while there were huge bumps in this journey, we stick together and we learn to be there as a family. =)

Well, I'm coming home tomorrow. Actually I was supposed return home today but there was a change of plans. It's going to be three hours ride from here to Miri and another 2 hours from Miri to Brunei. Hopefully I'll get my hands on some SugarBun fry chicken. Muahahaha

Oh can't forget. Visited one out of two church around here. It was pretty cool. Though things are run differently but it was alright. They're all in Malay so if I ever stay here... I'll have to understand and learn more Malay to go to church. hehe

Bah I better go. See you when I get back. Camp coming up!!! Woohoo!!

Crazy

This is crazy. I have Corrine Bailey Rae playing at the background(Yea! I got her album for less than $20 brunei dollars! Original!), Switchfoot playing on my Windows Media Player and Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape on Myspace. I tell you it's so weird listening to all of it together. I can hear the strong bass from Corrine's, Gwen's cool rhythm and Switchfoot rockin' away. I also got myself The Faders. I always thought they were cool. They are one of the few girl bands. Cheap Cheap la. May as well get la!

Thailand was fun! Did a lot of crazy things, had a great time of laughs and oohh the food... YUM! Went parachuting with the speed boat (??) , took a ride on the banana boat (which is yet another funny story to tell, but I shall not.. later malu), got my hair braided and a fake tattoo! Wow, Coral Island is beautiful! I've never seen the water so blue and clear! Now this is what I call a HOLIDAY! It's not all shopping till your feet fall out but it's about ENJOYING it! Not getting stressed out. Oh, we all had free foot massage that one time and man, it was so funny. My cousin, Mandy, and my thai aunt tried and it was our first time. I tell you, we couldn't stop giggling because it was sooo ticklish! My mom on the other corner was sleeping away already.

Anyway, it was by far one of the best holidays so far. Aside from the fun, it was definitely an eye opener to be in Thailand. So many people, so many lives, so many individual stories to tell... with so many history... the many mistakes that people make and it all sums up to choices.

Well I gotta go! so much to do! No time to delay!

Sorry no pics. Lazy la
